The Educational Week for Young Men “Time4Health: Unlock Your Full Potential in Health and Wellbeing” Supported by the Set of OERs

The aim and structure of the Educational Week “Time4Health: Unlock your full potential in health and wellbeing”

The aim of the Educational Week is to raise young men’s motivation to learn about health-related topics and inspire them to take greater responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.

The Educational Week will be structured around three interactive learning panels, each based on the one of three Open Educational Resources (OERs) developed within the project:

  1. Interactive presentation “Health Matters: Maximizing Your Potential for a Healthy and Thriving Life” – used as an introductory panel.
  2. Digital game “Wellness Expedition: Discover Your Path to Health” – a gamified journey through daily health choices and consequences.
  3. Set of 20 success stories “Journey to Wellness: Inspiring Young Men’s Narratives” – real-life accounts designed to inspire reflection and connection.

Young men will first engage in self-directed learning using one of the three (OERs). Following this, they will participate in facilitated group discussions led by trained youth workers during the learning panels. These discussions will allow them to reflect, share experiences, and gain deeper insights into the topics. This reversed learning model ensures active participation and supports young men in building personal motivation for healthier lifestyles.

The Open Education Resources supporting the Education week for young men “Time4Health: Unlock your full potential in health and wellbeing” are placed in the Moodle in all partner languages [EN, CS, LT, EL, SL, SR].
